The Dolls

Such fun people.  The last time we saw them here they were waiting for daughter #3 to arrive. And now she's here and ruling the roost.  Glad you finally have a picture of all 5 of you together.

I love this photo.  So much.
I almost want to print it and put it on my wall.

Mila was very worried about all the kissing going on.

Lesson learned: I think I've come to the point where I have most of the technical stuff figured out, now I can pay more attention to details in the photos, like where a hand is placed, etc.  Those little things can often (for me at least) make or break a photo.

The Bruntons

I've found that one of my favourite parts of taking pictures is RE-TAKING them; doing engagement and then maternity, or newborn and then family.  Seeing families grow and change, and being able to capture them is the best thing ever.
So here's an update of these beautiful people.

Lesson learned: When I let the personality of the people guide the direction of the shoot, I end up with such great pictures that so perfectly reflect them.

The other Tafuna's

While on vacay I did some pictures for my husbands family.
This is his brother and co.
Baby Mele is so stinkin cute it almost hurts.  She was all smiles and grins all day long.  It was so fun being with them, and great to be able to take some pictures for them.

Lesson learned: You can take pictures ANYWHERE.  We were pushed for time and couldn't really go anywhere.  These were taken at a highschool, next to a bunch of rubbish bins, a tennis court and some buildings.  They were VERY skeptical about how the pictures would turn out being taken in this area.  But it's all about how you use the space you've got, what angles you take the pictures from, and how you position everyone.
